Although only your name is required, the profile page provides an opportunity to highlight your personal attributes and skills and to upload your resume. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for potential employers to locate you! Later on, you can pick and choose which companies can see you by clicking the "Hide" button to keep yourself hidden from a specific company.
After logging in, the "My Info" box on the left will update to display the number of positions you have applied for, the number of unread messages you have received and a list of all the jobs and companies you have "saved."
After signing up, and after the fair has opened, you can begin to search for your new career! Search and browse options include looking for a job by keyword, by jobs, by companies or by industry. Simply click on your desired method to begin your search.
Once you have found a desirable match, applying is easy! Many employers will provide virtual office hours during which time they can be contacted through e-mail, IM or by phone. The IM function allows you to communicate in real time through the instant messenger program of your choosing. You can also choose to apply now and include one of your uploaded resumes.
